At Sighthound Gear we use the
finest materials available. All stress points are double stitched both in collars, leads,
and blankets. All collars, unless specified otherwise, are padded for the comfort and
safety of your sighthound. All collar hardware is welded or one piece for strength and
durability and comes in nickel or brass tone plating. Fun and artistry go into the
selection of our trims, webbing, and padding.

- Collars
We offer seven types of
collars made with nylon webbing and welded or one piece O or D rings. You choose the trim,
webbing color, nickel or brass rings, and the type of backing, even beading!
- Leather Collars and Leads
You have requested
it. We are doing it. Check back often as we add more and more styles of
leather collars and leads.
- Macrame Bead Collars
 We
use nylon cord with macramé knotting and beads to make a distinctive collar for your
canine friend. Unlike Pet Jewelry or Necklaces, these are real collars.
- Jackets
We make durable Racing
and Coursing Blankets. These meet regulations set by NOTRA, WRA, NAWRA, LGRA, ASFA, and/or
AKC and come in cotton, satin, or spandex.
- Cool Coats, Bandannas, &
Mats
We now offer two styles
of Cool Coats. One is made of Chamois with a choice of colors and trims. Wet it, place it
on your dog, your dog will love you for it. And now we carry Oasis Cool Coats that
are made of polyester mesh and are lighter in weight than the chamois and offer UV
protection in addition to its cooling properties. We also carry Cool It Cooling
Bandannas. They are the stylish way to keep your pet cool! Made with non-toxic
polymer crystals that absorb up to 30 times their weight and stay cool for several hours.
We are proud to carry Miracool Mats. These
unique mats help keep dogs cool on hot summer days and insulates dogs from cold floors in
the winter! Water-activated crystals keep mat cool for days.
- Warm-Ups and Coats
We have enlarged our
varity of coats to keep your dog warm and toastie, and our fleece warm-up blankets are
just the thing for an Autumn day or to keep warm between races
- Muzzles
We sell durable muzzles
for racing or whenever a muzzle is prudent. These meet regulations set by NOTRA, WRA,
NAWRA, and LGRA. We offer an assortment of colors and styles. We now offer
Plastic-Coated Wire Muzzles!
